I read this book for the first time two summers ago, and it became an instant favorite. The writing is absolutely beautiful and vivid and the storyline is captivating…I couldn’t put it down. I reread it this spring, and loved it even more than the first time around. Then I found out they are making it into a movie, which caused some mixed feelings. I already have the characters pictured in my head, and didn’t want those images ruined by a movie that doesn’t do the book justice. But then I saw the previews, and I think Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana will make the perfect Clare and Henry. It comes out next month - one of the few movies I’ve looked forward to seeing in a while.
