Make It Work

I have been a horrible blogger of late. Mostly because I don’t have much to blog about, sad as that is. This summer has basically consisted of working, taking care of the dog, laundry, wash, rinse, repeat. Compared to last summer - jetting off to Vegas, getting married, vacationing in St. Lucia - this summer is not even in the same league. No big trips, no life-changing events; just blah.
Which is what this post has become, so I’m going to stop writing. And do something quite unexciting, I’m sure.
I actually really like them, unlike most people. I feel like I have a fresh slate, that I have a chance to start over and do things better than I did them last week. I had a ridiculously lazy weekend, and as awesome as that was, I am ready to be a productive member of society.
Monday is my busiest day of the week. It’s perfect that way; the rest of the week is cake after today. My goals for July 13, 2009 are to put everything I’ve got into the 9 lessons/music therapy sessions scheduled for the day, take my dog for a walk, empty the dishwasher, do laundry, and record at least one song. If I can do all of that in one day, I can do anything…right?
